The Town of Cottage City has procured planning services through the PAMC program to assist with marketing and branding. In-house publications and graphic design staff will provide the Town with a new logo and a marketing brochure. The objective is to update the Town’s image and boost economic development by touting proximity to the District of Columbia, the Anacostia River waterfront, and potential future development on the west side of Bladensburg Road. The new logo will communicate collaboration among the four Port Towns
(Bladensburg, Cottage City, Colmar Manor, and Edmonston) while also identifying unique assets within Cottage City. The goal is for the new logo to be used on the Town’s letterhead, website, billboards, banners, and other media. The marketing brochure should use photos, illustrations and/or and maps to communicate opportunities to reside and do business within the Town. Branding should symbolize the past, present, and future of Cottage City.
