The museum houses a library that contains publications focusing on the people, aircraft, and activities involved in the history of College Park Airport, Maryland aviation, and early aviation up to World War I.
There is also general material on the development of civil and military aviation, significant aviators, aviation technology, and aeronautics to make the Library a thorough resource on aviation history. Additionally, there is a collection of children's books, both fiction and nonfiction, dating from as early as 1910.
Museum staff are diligently working to make the library a better resource for the public and researchers. To do this, a full inventory of the library holdings is currently underway. Due to the inventory process, the library is currently available for use by appointment only. To make an appointment, please contact the museum via email.
