The Department of Parks and Recreation offers many opportunities to learn and play the game of soccer. Introduce your child to the game, play the game in one of our recreational leagues or attend a fun-filled Summer Day Camp.

Don’t miss this opportunity to bring out the best in you through athletics. New to the sport? Familiar with the game? Develop and sharpen your skills to become a better player, and learn the importance of sportsmanship. 

Outdoor futsal, pickup soccer games for youth ages 12-18 are being offered late October through early December. Registration is ongoing – participants may register for multiple sessions. League Play

The Prince George’s County Boys & Girls Club Soccer League. The Department of Parks and Recreation supports this league. Games are played in both a Spring and Fall League. Youth sports clubs are located all throughout the county.

Spring League. Games are played between April 15 and June 10. Leagues are set-up for even number age groups (i.e. 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u & 14u). League age is based on your child’s age as of January 1 of the current year.

Fall League. Games are played between Labor Day and Halloween. Leagues are set-up for even number age groups (i.e. 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u & 14u). League age is based on your child’s age as of July 31 of the current year. Prices vary from team to team. To get league details or find a team near you, go to www.pgcbgc.com.
